LESS WASTE.
Great fabric shouldn’t spend its life sitting on a warehouse shelf. We help put end-of-roll and clearance stock back to work.
Designer furnishing fabric, without the designer-sized commitment. We rescue brilliant clearance, end-of-roll and archive fabrics and sell them by the metre in limited Drops.
Cutting It Fine started from a simple idea: there’s far too much brilliant fabric sitting around in warehouses, end-of-roll stock and archive collections, while people are often being asked to buy far more than they actually need.
I wanted to make those fabrics easier to find, easier to buy and a lot more fun to shop.
I’ve spent most of my career building brands and digital businesses, but I’ve always had a strong interest in interiors, design and finding things with a bit more character. Cutting It Fine is where those worlds come together.
PROUDLY UK-BASED. Cutting It Fine is an independent fabric business. Our fabrics are held and dispatched from Hertfordshire, and we currently deliver throughout the UK.
I WANTED TO TAKE SOMETHING THAT CAN FEEL TRADITIONAL AND MAKE IT FEEL EXCITING AGAIN — GREAT FABRIC, BETTER PRICES.— JAMES, FOUNDER
We source designer clearance, end-of-roll and archive furnishing fabrics from names you already know, then release them in limited Drops. You choose the length you need. We cut it. We send it.
Curtains. Blinds. Cushions. Upholstery. Whatever you’re making next.

Need three metres from a twelve-metre roll? Buy three. We sell in useful lengths rather than forcing you to take the lot.
Designer fabric becomes a lot more interesting when you can actually afford to experiment with it.
Our fabrics are limited, and the mix changes every Drop. Some are current designer clearance, some are archive pieces, some are end-of-rolls that deserve another chance.
Once a fabric has gone, it may genuinely never come back. That’s part of the fun.
WHEN IT’S GONE, IT’S GONE.
